Hopadoo: the jungle race
Two kids, side by side, race down a jungle path. When they jump, their runners jump. When they step left or right, their runners dodge. Rounds last 60 seconds.
How it plays
- Jump to clear the hurdles.
- Step left or right to dodge the crates.
- Grab the coins on the way. When the round ends, the higher score wins.
Two ways to play
- Jumping: the full race.
- No jumping: raise a hand to reach the stars instead. Good for flats with neighbours downstairs.
Each player picks a girl or a boy runner before the race.
Setting up takes two minutes
- A laptop, tablet or phone with a camera. Prop a tablet or phone up sideways, on a shelf or against a few books.
- Put it at about chest height, camera facing the room: a laptop on a table or TV stand, or a tablet or phone propped up sideways. A laptop plugged into the TV makes the runners easy to see.
- Step back 2 to 3 metres: Player 1 on the left, Player 2 on the right, head to toe in view.
- Hands up to join, and play.
Nothing leaves your device
There are no accounts or logins, no ads and no tracking. The camera video is processed on the device and never uploaded, so no video, photos or body data leave it.
