Sneak: don't wake the tiger
The tiger is sleeping. Tiptoe closer together, and when it peeks, freeze, or hide: hands up turns you into a tree, a squat turns you into a rock. Watch out for crunchy leaves on the path. Go quietly enough and the golden mango is yours.
Part of the Family Unlock. If this device has it, the button opens the game. If not, it takes you to the unlock.
How it plays
- Tiptoe on the spot and the pair creeps up the path. Hold still and it stops.
- Freeze or hide when the tiger peeks. Hold your hands up to become a tree, or squat to become a rock. A tree or a rock is safe even if it wobbles; anyone else who moves while it's looking gets an "Oops!", and the pair slides back a few stones. Nobody loses points.
- Step around the crunchy leaves. Patches of leaves lie on one side of the path, so step left or right to go round them. Step on one and CRUNCH: the tiger wakes up early.
- Take the mango together. Later levels ask for two mangos, then three.
It's a team game: two kids stand side by side and share one path. One kid can play alone too.
The Family Unlock
Sneak comes with the Family Unlock, along with Ten Jar: one payment, no subscription, on up to 5 of your family's devices, with a 30-day refund. Hopadoo, Sum Run, Word Pop and Monkey Mirror stay free either way. See pricing.
Setting up takes two minutes
- A laptop, tablet or phone with a camera. Prop a tablet or phone up sideways, on a shelf or against a few books.
- Put it at about chest height, camera facing the room: a laptop on a table or TV stand, or a tablet or phone propped up sideways. A laptop plugged into the TV makes the runners easy to see.
- Step back 2 to 3 metres: Player 1 on the left, Player 2 on the right, head to toe in view.
- Hands up to join, and play.
Nothing leaves your device
There are no accounts or logins, no ads and no tracking. The camera video is processed on the device and never uploaded, so no video, photos or body data leave it.
Questions
Is there a lot of jumping?
No. Sneak is tiptoeing, standing still, hands up and squats, so it suits flats with neighbours downstairs.
What ages is it for?
About 5 to 12.
What if the camera isn’t working?
Every game also plays with the keyboard, so nobody misses out.
